Privacy Policy

ILC Mentors operates Arrows to organize mentoring classes and keep enrolled students informed.

Information we collect

We collect your email address, password verifier, session and account security records, your name, class enrollment, meeting invitations, and announcement read status. Passwords are not stored in readable form. Mentors may create one-time account activation or password-reset links; the app stores only a cryptographic hash of each link and does not send the link for you. If you choose text notifications, we also collect your mobile number, your opt-in or opt-out choice, the time and source of that choice, and the version of the consent statement shown to you. We record text delivery status and service message identifiers.

How we use your information

We use this information to identify enrolled members, manage mentoring classes, show meetings and announcements to their intended recipients, send optional informational texts, honor notification choices, and troubleshoot delivery. Mentors can view the contact information and notification preferences of students enrolled in their classes.

SMS privacy

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your mobile number and message content are processed by Twilio and telecommunications providers to deliver messages. SMS consent is used only for this mentoring program. It is not transferred to other programs or used for third-party marketing.

Service providers and security

The app uses Cloudflare hosting and storage and Twilio for configured text delivery. These providers process information needed to operate the service. Access to class records requires sign-in and class membership. Text messages are delivered through telephone networks; avoid including sensitive information in meeting details or announcements.

Your choices

Text messaging is optional. You may use your mentoring class without enabling texts. Change your preferences in My profile or SMS preferences. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from texts and HELP for assistance. Stopping texts does not remove your class enrollment or in-app announcements.

Retention and requests

Class records and delivery and consent history are retained for program administration and to document notification choices. Contact the program using the support details on our Terms & Conditions page to request access, correction, or deletion of your information. Some records may need to be retained to honor opt-outs or meet applicable requirements.

Changes

We will update this page and its effective date if our practices change.
